Colombian winger Juan Cuadrado has endured a tumultuous six months in the Premier League since signing for Chelsea FC in January, but is set to stay at the club according to the playera s agent

Despite recent reports in the media linking the 27-year-old with a move away from Chelsea FC, it appears as though Juan Cuadrado will get the opportunity to play with his compatriot Radamel Falcao for the Premier League champions next season, with his agent insisting that the Colombian is set to continue at Stamford Bridge.

Cuadradoa s agent a Alessandro Lucci a spoke exclusively to Tuttomercatoweb regarding his clienta s future, saying: a I read with amazement in some English and Italian newspapers about imaginary figures and agents associated with Cuadrado, so I think it is right to clarify the situation.

“Cuadrado is a Chelsea player, strongly backed by Mourinho who believes in him. Juan is fine in London and is very likely to remain at Chelsea. He has interest from other teams but I repeat; Juan is a Chelsea player.”

Although Lucci is seemingly insistent that his client will be a Chelsea FC player next season, the acknowledgement that there are teams interested in him is worth noting. After Juventus, Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid, AS Roma and La Liga side Valencia are the latest clubs to reportedly show interest in the Colombian, which brings into question Jose Mourinhoa s willingness to keep him in the Bluesa squad.

Valencia-based sports daily . Superdeporte claim that Mourinho has enlisted the help of super-agent Jorge Mendes to find a new club for Cuadrado, with Valencia touted as a possible destination. Chelsea FC reportedly would be open for a season-long loan with an option to buy, but would prefer a straight sale for about a 25m.

Meanwhile, according to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, AS Roma have shown a desire to bring Cuadrado to the Italian capital. The reports claim that although Juventus are in pole positon for the Colombian, they could face serious competition from the Serie A runners-up for the 27-year-old.

The increasing reports of interest form top clubs around Europe suggest that Chelsea FC could well be looking to cut their losses on Cuadrado already, and to replace him with a player that is perhaps more suited to the English game.

Unless a deal for such a player is first sealed, however, it is extremely unlikely that there will be any concrete movement regarding Cuadradoa s situation. Any potential move away from Chelsea FC a if indeed the Blues are willing to part with the Colombian a is likely to be late in the window, after Mourinho has had time to secure a replacement.
