Chelsea and Manchester United target Felipe Anderson has decided to end speculation and speak about his future. Will it help?

The Brazilian enjoyed a fine season with Italian side Lazio which ensured he becomes a big subject of rumors and links in a time commonly known as “silly season” among fans. Anderson has been linked with PSG, Chelsea, Manchester United and other top clubs from time to time and report to report. His goals, seven assists and important contribution to Lazio’s Champions League qualifying season gets you there.

Nicknamed Lampadina, or the a light bulba , Anderson is an attacking midfielder who is used in the traditional number 10 role. He likes to sit behind the striker but the two footed player can even be employed out wide. He has got a great first touch and likes to dribble a lot. His good control with the ball, vision and link-up with other attackers make him a real asset to have in the ranks.

Manchester United recently were said to be weighing up a a A?30m bid for the Brazilian and Chelsea were also reported to be following up on their interest in the player.

But all the suitors are set to receive a blow as Anderson has pledged his future at the Italian side in the foreseeable future.

Next year? All I know is Ia ll be playing for Lazio,” Anderson said.

“I only recently renewed my contract for another five years. Ia m thinking about that shirt, and nothing else.

.

“I dona t know of any offers, my future is at Lazio.”
