Real Madrid’s German midfielder Sami Khedira is all set to join Italian champions . Juventus FC in the coming season, according to media reports in Italy. The out of favour midfielder at Real Madrid has passed the necessary medical checks at Spain under the supervision of Juventus authorities. Now he has to complete very few formalities in Italy to complete his signing.
Sami Khedria’s contract expires in this summer and he has opted to move out of the club in the next season. A few days back it was reported that Khedira is not happy with Real Madrid’s treatment towards him. He was not getting regular game time and was overlooked time and again. The German midfielder had just played 11 games in the La Liga for the Los Blancos this season.
Sami Khedira’s move to Juventus FC may prove to be of great benefit to both the parties. He is a quality defensive midfielder who can play a pivotal role in front of the backline. Juventus’ Arturo Vidal is reportedly leaving the club this summer and will head towards England. If the Chilean actually departs in the coming season then Sami Khedira would prove to be an ideal candidate to replace Arturo Vidal in the squad.
Statistics reveal that Arturo Vidal had a much better season than Khedira, however, considering that Khedira did not feature in the starting lineup regularly, the stats are bit out of context.
