Manchester United have confirmed the news that they will not extend Radamel Falcao’s loan deal beyond this season. The club had procured the services of Falcao last summer on the transfer deadline day. He was brought on loan from French club AS Monaco. A lot was expected from this star striker who had a sky-high reputation before this season. Unfortunately, the Manchester United stint proved to be a nightmare for the Colombian international who just managed to score 4 goals in 29 Premier League appearances.

The Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has wished Radamel Falcao success for his future endeavours speaking to the club website. He said, “Falcao is a top professional and a good human being. On behalf of myself and everyone at the club I would like to wish him well for the future.”

Radamel Falcao will now move back to his parent club AS Monaco but the French side will send him for yet another loan stint in the coming season. As reported by the Dailymail, Falcao has instructed his agents to find him a club in England and he is ready to accept a pay cut in order to continue playing in England.

Chelsea and Liverpool are strongly linked with Falcao. A few days back it was reported that the Premier League champions are keen on roping in Radamel Falcao on loan to replace their outgoing veteran striker Didier Drogba. Liverpool also have shown interest in signing the Colombian. Brendan Rodgers had revealed earlier that they will look forward to rope in quality goal scorers. Falcao will be a suitable option for the Reds as they can lure his services for a moderate amount.
