Ahead of Chelsea’s vital clash with Manchester United, manager Jose Mourinho revealed his desire is to win the Premier League and not the Manager of the Season.

The Manager also revealed he is not worried about motivating his players, as they play a side who are one of the best in the country.

Mourinho said,”To play against Man United is to play against one of the biggest clubs in the world,.”

“Their squad is amazing. In numbers, in players, in experience, in solutions, their squad is amazing.

“Every week I have in my office not the team I am going to play against but their squad and all the options and this week I realised what they have is amazing – Mata, Di Maria, Januzaj, Rooney, Van Persie, Falcao, Herrera, Carrick, Blind, Fellaini.”

“I went to QPR with Drogba and [we had] no strikers on the bench.”

“Ita s to play against one of the best teams in the Premier League, and I think this is what everybody wants. It is a special fixture. Ita s a big match.”

“This week I was not worried about motivating players or demanding players to be focused on the game and the opponent because there is no need. Ita s an easy job.”

When asked about his relationship with Van Gaal, Mourinho refered to the Manchester United manager as a big,big friend and also revealed that although he doesn’t speak with Van Gaal on a regular basis , the feeling of friendship hasn’t changed.

Chelsea’s Brazilian midfielder Oscar has recently been linked with a move away from the Club and the Chelsea boss rubbished those reports by saying,””Of course. He just signed a contract a few months ago and is one of the players with long-term contracts.”

“He is 23 years old, in the best period of his career – obviously we don’t want to sell.”

The Chelsea boss was also asked about Eden Hazard, who has recently been nominated for both the PFA Player Of The Year and the PFA Young Player Of The Year and Mourinho reckons the Belgian has been consistent throughout the season for the Blues.

Mourinho was also asked by journalists if he could see himself becoming the Manager Of The Year and the Chelsea manager responded by saying,”I am the last one. I never got a Manager of the Month so how can I think about Manager of the Season?

“It’s the Premier League I want to win, not the manager of the Season.”
