Juventus are certain to receive a big fiancial boost if they make it to the semi-finals of UEFA Champions League at the expense of AS Monaco and the Old Lady management has already started making plans for the summer transfer window. Their principle target for the summer is Chelsea attacker Oscar.
Chelsea are currently well stocked with world class attackers as Jose Mourinho has the likes of Oscar, Eden Hazard, Willian, Diego Costa and Juan Cuadrado at his disposal. Oscar has made 24 appearance for Chelsea in Premier League this season, scoring 6 goals and providing 7 assists in the process.
But, Oscar is no longer an indiespansable member of Chelsea squad as Jose Mourinho has huge talent pool available for selection.
Juventus, on the other hand are in the market for a world class attacker in the market. Carlos Tevez has already made it clear that he wants to leave Turin to play in Argentina while coach Max Allegri is not at all convinced with the ability of Fernando Llorente and Alexandro Matri yet.
Juventus sporting director Pavel Nedved has scouted Oscar on numerous occasions in past couple of months and he is happy with what he has seen so far.
Oscar, 23, is no longer an undisputed started for Chelsea under Jose Mourinho and he wants to play for a club which can guarantee him a place in the starting XI.
Juventus authorities believe that this is a great opportunity to get Oscar as he is feeling insecure at Chelsea. However, if Juventus want to have any realistic chance of getting Oscar, they will have to splash a huge cash as the management of Chelsea has no plans to sell their star attacker in the summer.
Juventus management is well aware of the potential hurdles which might comein their way to pursuade Chelsea, and hence they also have an alternate plan ready. The Old Lady are keeping Zenit St. Petesburg star Witsel as their secondary option.
Meanwhile, reports coming from Italy have also confirmed the interest of Juventus in Chelsea attacker Oscar.
Tuttosport has claimed it today that Juventus are turning their sights on Chelsea talent Oscar, sending scouts to view him in Thursdaya s friendly between France and Brazil.
