Arsenal travel to St. Jamesa Park to face Newcastle United on Saturday and they will be without Arteta, Wilshere and Debuchy.

Arsenal face Newcastle United on Sunday in a bid to get closer to the second place in the Premier League. Currently, only a point behind Manchester City and six points behind league leaders Chelsea, Arsenal have one eye on the second place and another on the title. However, winning the title is a distant dream for Arsenal and they will have to work harder than ever to achieve that dream.

Arsenal play their second consecutive away game. They visit Newcastle United on the back of a 2-0 victory against Monaco which saw them come agonisingly close to sealing a place in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

Arsene Wenger revealed the team news ahead of the game against Newcastle United.

Speaking about the general fitness of the team, Arsene Wenger confirmed that there are no new major injuries. But Wilshere, Arteta and Debuchy are still recovering and will not be available on Saturday.

Wenger said: a We have no new big injuries, we have some knocks, but nothing major. Mathieu Debuchy is two or three weeks away, Arteta and Wilshere as well. Arteta will maybe come back after the [international] break. Tomas Rosicky is hopefully available again for the weekend.a

With the absence of Arteta and Wilshere, Wenger will start any two of Cazorla, Ramsey and Coquelin in a deeper role. However, all three could start the game with Cazorla playing in a more advanced role.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who injured himself in the FA Cup victory over Manchester United will surely miss out against Newcastle and that could lead to Wenger fielding Giroud, zil and Alexis Sanchez in the attack with Cazorla playing behind them.

Having played a demanding match against Monaco in the middle of the week, there are some concerns about fatigue for Arsenal. Speaking about it, Wenger said that fatigue is a concern and Arsenal may have to pay for playing offensively against Monaco.

He said: a West Ham was a very physical game. In the second half of the Monaco game we played some of our players offensively. We paid a little bit for it. It is a concern. We have to see how everyone recovers.a

Arsenal are walking on a thin rope in the league as they maybe only one point behind the second place but also only a point ahead of fourth-placed Manchester United. Saturdaya s game will be pivotal for Arsenala s league campaign.
