Manchester United‘s new signing Daley Blind said it is a ‘dream come true’ to join the 20 time league champions.
The 24 year old moved to the Manchester club on deadline day, but the deal had been agreed by Ajax and United before itself. Blind had been linked with a move to Manchester United during the World Cup after he put on outstanding performances for his nation under van Gaal. The player had then denied the rumors saying that it is easy for them to surface when a club and nation is managed by the same person. However, van Gaal seemed keen on bringing in the impressive player from Ajax who primarily plays as a defender but was successfully operated as a defensive midfielder last season.
