Manchester City were completely humiliated by Stoke City on Saturday, as the Potters earned a historic 2-0 victory over the league leaders.
Stoke City manager Mark Hughes set his side up perfectly with a mixture of brawn at the back and brains up front. However, nobody expected the Potters to do so well, as Xherdan Shaqiri set up both the goals, for Marko Arnautovic to score a brace past Manchester City keeper Joe Hart.
.
However, it was an all-round performance by Stoke, as Shaqiri, Arnautovic, Bojan Krikic, and Ibrahim Afellay ran riot against the Manchester City defence.
In fact, Shaqiri made Argentina international Nicolas Otamendi look like an amateur player, as he easily nutmegged the 27-year-old in this stretch of play.
