While the Chelsea FC senior team struggled to get the desired results under their belt, their junior team seems to be doing much better, as they swatted aside the Liverpool U-21 side with a 4-0 thumping on Sunday.
One of the few pleasing sights for a Chelsea FC fan this season, was not from a seniors’ game, but from an U-21 encounter. It was that of Ruben Loftus-Cheek running through the Liverpool FC U-21 midfield and defence like a freight-train, to score a wonderful goal.
With the current plight of the Chelsea FC senior team, the Blues fans would be hoping that the management would be keeping an eye out for this goal.
.
None other than Jose Mourinho, who had received a stadium ban for Chelsea FC senior team’s away match at Stoke City on Saturday, took notice of this stellar performance. The Portuguese manager was seen on the stands at the U-21 match, when Loftus-Cheek scored this wonderful goal. Here’s a video of the great performance.
