Everton manager Roberto Martinez jokingly admitted to singing the new John Stones song made by the Toffees fans in his shower.
The Goodison Park outfit rejected a number of bids from Premier League champions Chelsea FC for the services of John Stones and made their stance clear that the defender was unavailable at any price.
Everton fans had produced their own rendition of The Beatles’ classic ‘Can’t Buy Me Love’ before their match against Tottenham Hotspur. The Toffees faithful were heard singing “Money can’t buy you Stones” and the song has become an instant hit.
Speaking in a press conference ahead of this weekend’s clash against Chelsea FC, Martinez hailed the creativity of Everton fans and even cheekily accepted that he sometimes sings the song in the shower.
Here’s the video of Roberto Martinez’ candid confession.
