Some rather unusual scenes unfolded in Costa Rica’s international fixture against South Africa, with a pitch invader breaking down in tears after being apprehended by security, only to be rescued by Real Madrid star Keylor Navas

The Real Madrid keeper has been in excellent form this season, and it appears as though he is just as admirable a person as he is a goalkeeper. A pitch invader was handled forcefully in Costa Rica’s game against South Africa on Thursday, causing him to break down into tears.
To the players’ credit, they all played their part in consoling him — none more so than Keylor Navas, who was kind enough to take a photo with him and give the man a hug, making it a day to remember for him.
