More than one-thirds of the current Arsenal FC squad are either injured or doubtful, with the demanding Christmas period of the English football season looming on the horizon.
This is enough to give manager Arsene Wenger a few headaches, and Laurent Koscielny’s hip injury on Sunday against Norwich is something that will only add to the Frenchman’s woes.
Koscielny seems to have injured his hip while attempting to make a tackle, but Wenger later said that the France international had received a kick on his hip earlier in the game, and this only got worse as the 30-year-old soldiered on with it.
