Paris Saint-Germain striker Edinson Cavani was in brilliant goal-scoring form against Bordeaux, netting two past the keeper in the first half.
The Parc des Princes outfit conceded a late goal to draw the match against Brodeaux after a first half brace from Edinson Cavani.
The Uruguayan striker has been in a good run of form lately and has already scored four goals this season. Cavani also benefited from the absence of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, during whose presence the 28-year-old is sometimes shifted to a more peripheral role on the flanks.
Cavani first capitalized on a goalkeeping howler by Cedric Carsasso, the French international had spilled a straight forward through ball. Cavani pounced on the loose ball before firing it in from inside the box.
The former Napoli striker then scored a peach of a free-kick from the edge of the box to restore his side’s one goal advantage.
