As Arsenal FC comfortably bulldozed Manchester United to climb up to second place in the league, Liverpool FC saw their manager sacked following a 1-1 draw with Everton.

The Gunners were phenomenal on the day and Arsene Wenger was upbeat in his press conference while discussing the events that had unfolded. Arsenal FC scored three within a space of 19 minutes to put the result beyond Manchester United, with Alexis Sanchez scoring twice. Mesut Ozil assisted once before himself scoring and his link up with the other two forwards in Sanchez and Walcott was nothing short of breathtaking.

However, during Wenger’s press conference, news of Brendan Rodgers’ sacking broke out and the Frenchman expressed his disappointment at seeing a ‘quality’ manager sacked, before wishing him luck for his future endeavors.
