The PFA Premier League Team of the Year has been announced. Out of the eleven members, six players are from league leaders Chelsea. The other five players are from Arsenal, Manchester United, Liverpool, Tottenham Hotspurs and Southampton.

John Terry, Garry Cahill, Branislav Ivanovic, Nemanja Matic, Eden Hazard and Diego Costa are the six Chelsea players who feature in this list PFA. The other players in the list are Alexis Sanchez from Arsenal, Philippe Coutinho from Liverpool, Ryan Bertrand from Southampton, David De Gea from Manchester United and Harry Kane from Tottenham.

The Team

Goalkeeper: David De Gea (Manchester United)

Defenders: Branislav Ivanovic (Chelsea), Garry Cahill (Chelsea), John Terry (Chelsea), Ryan Bertrand (Southampton)

Midfielders: Alexis Sanchez (Arsenal), Nemanja Matic (Chelsea), Philippe Coutinho (Liverpool), Eden Hazard (Chelsea)

Strikers: Diego Costa (Chelsea), Harry Kane (Tottenham Hotspurs)

It was quite obvious that maximum players in the final list will feature Chelsea players who are at the top of Premier League and are on the verge to be crowned champions. The team under Jose Mourinho have displayed a great brand of team game.

Young English striker Harry Kane who had an outstanding season with Tottenham Hotspurs also features in this list alongside Chelsea Diego Costa, outclassing the likes of Sergio Aguero. Kane also made his debut this in international football for the English national team.

Chilean international Alexis Sanchez, who joined Arsenal this season from Barcelona, has had a great impact on his cluba s performance. He is arguably one of the best players of this season and rightly finds his name in this list.

Another exciting name which is worth a mention is the induction of Ryan Bertrand. This young English left-back was originally a Chelsea player. Due to immense competition in his position, he was loaned out of the club. Finally in this season he was sold to Southampton. The youngster has been exceptional for the club and his defensive records are extremely good. His impressive season earned him a place in this yeara s PFA Team of the Year.

Surprisingly not a single player from Manchester City FC features in this list, not even Sergio Aguero who scored 21 goals this season.
