Here is a transfer round-up of Manchester City for this week.

Raheem Sterling (Liverpool)

Raheem Sterling is strongly linked with Manchester City in the summer. The Liverpool youngster who has been in outstanding form since last season is in the radar of several top European clubs. The youngster has already become a sensation at the club at a tender age of 20. According to Mirror, Sterling has started to think a future outside Liverpool and has refused to sign a fresh contract extension with the club. Manchester City has decided to release veteran English midfielder James Milner at the end of the season. This means they would want to sign a fresh player who can play in the right wing position. The former Premier League champions have very high ambitions next season and have already planned to offer A?50 million to Liverpool to buy Raheem Sterling. Liverpool are also considering to rope in a marquee forward and they would spend heavily to get one. Thus, there is a possibility that they sell Sterling and with that money they will go all out to buy an expensive forward in the summer.

Paul Pogba (Juventus)

One more big name signing which the Manchester club is eyeing is young French central midfielder Paul Pogba from Juventus. Manchester City are almost certain to sell their marquee midfielder, Yaya Toure, this summer. Pogba is currently one of the best central midfielders in the world and he can be a fitting replacement of Yaya Toure in the City midfield. As per reports of Mirror, Juventus are considering bids for the French man. Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered to pay a mammoth A?60 million for Paul Pogba. Also, his wage is supposed to be around A?320,000-a-week. This means that the Premier League side will have to break the British football transfer fee record of A?59.6 million pound, which was paid by Manchester United last season for Angel Di Maria, in order to avail the services of Paul Pogba.

Jack Wilshere (Arsenal)

Arsenal Training Session

Manchester City have been a keen admirer of the talents which are produced by Arsene Wenger at Arsenal. Previously several Arsenal players have joined the Cityzens like Gael Clichy, Samir Nasri, Emanuel Adebayor, etc. Once again, it is believed that Manuel Pellegrini is ready to raid the North London club. According to the Mirror, the top brass of Manchester City are interested in roping English international Jack Wilshere in the summer for a whopping A?30million transfer fee. They were initially interested in signing Liverpoola s Jordan Henderson but now that the midfielder has pledged his loyalty towards the club by signing a fresh five-year contract, Manchester City have shifted their focus towards Wilshere. Jack Wilshere has recently rejoined the Arsenal squad after he remained out of action due to an ankle injury. The English midfielder knows very well that his position in the first team squad is in jeopardy and that may prove to be a driving force. Arsene Wenger although has strictly said that he wona t sell his stars to City anymore. He was quoted, a You can imagine my answer. We are not in a position where we have to sell our best players.a

It will be an interesting thing to see in the summer, whom does Manchester City actually sign to reshape their squad and make it world class in order to become a strong contender in the Premier League as well as in the UEFA Champions League.
