Pep Guardiola Has Decided To Leave Bayern Munich Next Summer

Pep Guardiola, one of the most sought after managers in Europe and constantly being linked to Manchester United and Manchester City, has come to a decision regarding his future at Bayern Munich.

Guardiola has put a number of major clubs across Europe on high alert as he made the decision to leave his managerial job at Bayern Munich and look for a new challenge next summer. The Spaniard has constantly been linked to the likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, even Chelsea and Real Madrid, but had been non-committal about his future until now.

.

But according to Eurosport.com, Spanish newspaper Marca has revealed the news that Guardiola, after a meeting with the Bayern Munich board on Wednesday afternoon, has made the decision to leave the club next summer.

” The Catalan has informed the suits at the Allianz Arena that he has made his mind up to seek out pastures new. He feels that things have reached breaking point because of a fundamental disconnect between his footballing philosophy and the club’s ethos, not to mention certain man-management issues he has had with the squad. As far as Guardiola is concerned, there is no turning back. The way he sees it, his time in charge of the Bundesliga champions has run its course and prolonging his stay beyond the end of this season could do both the club and himself more harm than good.”, according to Marca.

Everybody wants Pep

Pep Guardiola has made a massive reputation for himself with his managerial success at both Barcelona and Bayern Munich. He has long been linked with a move to Manchester City, but recently the Citizens neighbours Manchester United have also joined the race. The uninspiring season that the Red Devils are having under Louis van Gaal, has reportedly put Manchester United on high alert for Guardiola.

Even clubs like Real Madrid and Chelsea, who are going through bad patches, have been linked to the Bayern Munich manager, but those moves seem unlikely. The city of Manchester, in most probability, will be his next destination, but it remains to be seen whether in Red or Blue.
