Legendary Brazilian striker Pele has spoken on his preference for the clubs he would like to play for if he were still playing today.
The three time World Cup winner, picked Champions League holders FC Barcelona and English Premier League side Arsenal FC as the clubs he would have like to played for.
The 74-year-old is considered by many to be the greatest footballer of all time and the Brazilian scored an incredible 1281 goals in 1383 games during his career with Brazil, Santos and New York Cosmos.

I would play for Arsenal if I had a chance — Pele
The legendary striker drew comparisons between his Brazil and Santos side and that of the current FC Barcelona of Lionel Messi and Neymar. Speaking in an exhibition in London, dedicated to him, the Brazilian was quoted by The Telegraph, as saying:
a Today Barcelona. They are the same style as Santos and Brazil of my day. Almost the same style.a
When asked to choose an English Premier League side, Pele picked Arsenal FC.
a Arsenal is a good team to play with. I would play for Arsenal if I had a chance.a
The Brazilian also preferred Arsenal FC ahead of current title holders Chelsea FC. The Mirror quote him as saying:
“I like the teams that play open football. Today it is difficult to decide which teams play that way.
“Between Chelsea and Arsenal? I would play for Arsenal if I had the chance.”
The legendary Brazilian striker spent 18 years playing for Santos, while his exploits for Brazil helped them to three World Cups.
