The president of FC Barcelona forward Pedroa s first club, CD San Isidro, claims that he has been told that the player will play in the Premier League this season.
Pedroa s future at FC Barcelona has been subject of intense speculation despite the player signing a new deal in the summer.
The arrival of new signing Arda Turan to add to the already existing trio of Neymar, Messi, Suarez means Pedroa s chances might be limited at the club.
The player himself was quoted saying earlier that he was unsure about his future and his buyout clause recently dropped from a 150 million to a 30m
Manchester United and Chelsea FC have been heavily linked with a move for the player.

‘Pedro to play in the Premier League’
The president of Pedro’s first club, Jaime Lorenzo, has told El Larguero that his mother told him the player would move to Premier League.
“The other day, Pedroa s mother told us he was leaving for England,a Lorenzo told Cadena Ser.
a I think it would be a good challenge for him and he will have more playing time.”
a We will send him a gift! If the agreement is a 30 million (A?21m) at least a 450,000 (A?316,350) belongs to us, even though these contracts have some specific clauses.”
Where could Pedroa s future lie?
FC Barcelona manager Luis Enrique had stressed earlier this month that he wants Pedro to stay. However, the manager has now admitted that Pedro could leave should his release clause be met.
a Pedro? If he wants to go, a club will have to meet his release clause,a Luis Enrique was quoted saying by Sport.
Both, Manchester United and Chelsea FC would be attractive options for Pedro. Recent reports have claimed that Manchester United are favorites for the Spanish winger. However, earlier reports in the Catalan media had stated Chelsea FC are leading the race for the Winger. Pedro allegedly had conversations with Chelsea FC manager Jos Mourinho, which the player later denied.
One would think that Pedro will use the coming six months till Turan is ineligible to play for FC Barcelona to see where he stands. He could decide his next move in January if not in the summer having stated that he could, still, stay at the club.
Manchester United could use the money from Di Maria transfer to finance the deal for Pedro as recent reports claim. Louis van Gaal has certainly made it clear that the club are looking to sign a player in his mound.
