NorthEast United FC will be looking to play their first home game of 2015 Hero Indian super league. They will host FC Goa; the Gaurs are coming back from humiliation at the hands of Chennayin FC. The last time Goa traveled to Guwahati they had to face defeat and so it will be interesting to see how the two sides face each other coming from a defeat in their last game.

Team News and Tactical Brief:

NorthEast United FC

The north eastern side has not got a decent start which they were hoping for. The highlanders are without a point and playing at home will be big boost for them. They will look to get their first win in front of their home fans. They have played decent football but apart from Argentina sriker Velez none of the other players looked threatening.

Farias will be eager to get first points on their name; he would expect much advance role from Kamara. The Senegalese international has been playing bit withdrawn role, which look decent but NorthEast need goals. Ghanaian striker Francis Dadzie hasna t impressed much with his football; he has been lazy at a time during the matches. Ivory Coast striker Boubacar Sanoga may get chance to make his debut in the league. The fans will be 12th men of the home side, the massive support will add to the strength of the team.

Probable Starting Lineup (4-4-2): Rehenesh, Robin, Bruno, Hengbart, Reegan, Silas, Hanghal, Kamara, Boithang, Velez, Sanoga.

FC Goa

The visitors are coming into this match from humiliation in the last game against Chennayin FC. Last year semifinalist FC Goa lost 4-0 against Chennayin FC which resulted in end of their 12 match unbeaten streak. Lucio injury has added extra problems for the Zico. The Brazilian defender has been ruled out of this match which is huge blow for the Goans. Luciano Sabrosa expected to replace him at the heart of defense.

There could change between the stick, Elinton hasna t had pretty night last game against Chennayin and he may lost his place to Kattimani. Indian goalkeeper would look to produce better performance and cement his place. Brazilian striker rienaldo has been poor upfront for the gaurs, missing dozens of open chances. He will have to step up and help his team in the match. Scottish striker Darryl Duffy may replace Brazilian.

Probable Starting Lineup (4-2-3-1): Kattimani; Keenan, Sabrosa, Gregory, Roy, Lucca, Jofre, Mandar, Leo, Romeo, Duffy

Prediction

NorthEast United FC 2 a 0 FC Goa

The home side will be high on confidence playing at their home; they would be up against struggling side. The HardTackle expect the home win. The Visitors confidence will be low and the home side will look to take advantage of this.
