Mourinho Visibly Shaken After Liverpool Loss, Chooses To Stay Mum In Bizarre Post Match Interview

Chelsea FC suffered their sixth defeat of the season, as they crashed to a 1-3 loss against Liverpool FC at Stamford Bridge on Saturday. Mourinho reacted bizarrely to the loss, but the Portuguese does not believe his time at Chelsea is over.

.

Chelsea made the perfect start to the game, as Ramires headed home for the hosts in the 3rd minute. It seemed like Chelsea would finally get their season back on track, but it wasn’t to be, and Philippe Coutinho leveled things up for a Liverpool just before half time. The Brazilian made it 2-1 in the 74th minute, before Benteke sealed the deal for the visitors.

Jose Mourinho had some serious business on his hands before this match, and now one wonder’s if he will even get another chance to get things right at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho sure of not getting sacked

In the post match interview, Jose looked visibly shaken, as he chose to stay mum over most of the questions by saying “I have nothing to say “.

“Nothing to say, I am so sorry, I have nothing to say. The fans are not stupid,” Mourinho said repeatedly to every question that he was asked by the reporter from BT sport.

On players not getting respect

Jose Mourinho was left frustrated by the events that transpired at the Bridge and felt that his players deserved more respect for putting up a fight.

“As professionals the players are not getting the respect they deserve. We are not going to have a great Saturday dinner.

“I am sorry about lack of respect for professionals. You are intelligent guys. At the next press conference I will bring you nice glasses and you will see things in a better way.”

Is this the end of Mourinho?

This is Mourinho’s and Chelsea’s worst ever start to a premier league campaign, and things are looking increasingly dark at Stamford Bridge. It looks like it is only a matter of time before Roman Abramovich starts looking at other options.

But luckily for Jose, there probably isn’t a good replacement in the market at the moment, which probably buys the Portuguese a bit more time to turn things around. Nonetheless, difficult times lie ahead for Chelsea and Mourinho.
