Manchester United Could Focus On Liverpoolai??i??s Sterling And Petr Cech As De Gea and Gareth Bale Commit To Real Madrid

According to reports, Manchester Uniteda s goal-keeper David De Gea has already bid goodbye to the staff at Old Trafford as he prepares to commit his future to Real Madrid while United target Gareth Bale has refused to move away from the Spanish capital. In that case, it seems logical for Manchester United to target Liverpoola s Raheem Sterling and Chelseaa s Petr Cech in order to put together a winning squad as the transfer season inches closer.

David De Gea reportedly has one foot out of the door as he looks to script a new beginning at Real Madrid. The Spaniard has refused to comment on his future while remaining insistent in his refusal to sign a contract extension at Manchester United. Van Gaal meanwhile is already looking for David De Geaa s replacement and reports suggest that United have identified Hugo Lloris and Petr Cech as possible transfer targets.

Though it is being reported that Mourinho is not keen on selling Cech to an English rival, the goal-keeper shares an excellent relationship with owner Roman Abramovich and hence will be allowed to leave for either Arsenal or Manchester United if the goal-keeper can reach a personal agreement with them. Petr Cech will prove to be an excellent option in place of David De Gea. Though it would be unfair to compare the two based in the 2014-15 season as Cech was unseated by the arrival of Thibaut Courtois, statistics for the 2013-14 season indicate that Cech is as influential a goal-keeper as Real Madrid bound David De Gea.

Along with a goal-keeper, Manchester United are also keen on reinforcing their midfield and were reportedly interested in Gareth Bale before the Welshman committed himself to Real Madrid. The Welsh winger is keen on proving himself at Real Madrid and the club seeks to build the team around him as they prepare for life without Cristiano Ronaldo. Reports suggest that Manchester United have turned their attention closer home to Raheem Sterling who could be lured in with the promise of Champions League football and a profitable contract.

Not the end of the season we had hoped for, we always want to win trophies! (1/2)

Statistics indicate that Sterling falls short of Gareth Balea s standards this season however the Englishmana s pace and versatility will provide Louis Van Gaal with plenty of opportunities in the midfield. Liverpoola s young prodigy can be deployed either on the wings or behind the striker but the midfielder is reportedly concerned with the backlash that is likely to follow such a transfer. Liverpool too will be keen to not lose Sterling to an arch rival like Manchester United and would much rather allow Real Madrid or PSG to procure his services rather than United.

However a sensational transfer of this nature can definitely be pulled off by Manchester United who have the means to match his price tag while coming to a personal agreement with the player. The deal with Petr Cech is expected to be much simpler if the club and the player were indeed to come to an agreement with each other.
