Juventus have offers from Chelsea FC, Manchester City and Barcelona for superstar midfielder Paul Pogba

The battle for the signature of the 22-year-old midfielder could come to a head in the next few weeks with Juventus reportedly fielding offers from Premier League clubs Chelsea FC and Manchester City, as well as Catalan giants Barcelona

The future of Paul Pogba has been the subject of intense speculation over the past few weeks, and there are no signs of the rumours abating any time soon, with the French midfielder continuing to be linked with some of Europea s top clubs.

.

Catalan newspaper Sport have claimed that Juventus have the following three offers on the table for the former Manchester United youngster: a 80m + a 10m in add-ons from Barcelona to purchase in July 2016, a 50m + Brazilian midfielder Oscar from Chelsea to purchase this summer, and a cash-only a 100m offer from Manchester City to purchase the France international this summer.

The report claims that Barcelonaa s transfer ban this summer might actually work to their advantage; not only does Pogba allegedly favour a move to Spain, but it would also allow Juventus and Massimiliano Allegri to keep the Frenchman for another season a to potentially launch another bid to win the Champions League.

Manchester City face a summer of rebuilding and club chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak has already emphasised the need to target high-quality signings to avoid another disappointing season. Paul Pogba is everything Manchester City need at present a a young player with immense potential, a player to build the next a corea around, and a signing that would re-establish their credentials as a serious powerhouse in English football.

Chelsea arguably do not need Pogba as much, but do have an important bargaining chip in Brazilian international Oscar who has been heavily linked with Juventus this summer. Jos Mourinho has shown in the past that he is willing to sell some of his most talented players, and although Oscara s agent has ruled out an exit from Chelsea, it is likely that the Premier League champions will use him in any potential deal if they feel they have a chance of securing Pogbaa s signature.

From the signings that the Catalan giants have made over the past couple of seasons, it is clear that Barcelona are building a side that could dominate not just domestically, but also in the Champions League for the next few years. The treble winners also have presidential elections on the horizon, and prospective candidates a led by Juan Laporta a are using the promise of Pogbaa s signature as a tool to try and gain an advantage in the election.

Paul Pogba is a player that could strengthen any team in world football, and as such, the midfielder is likely to have a range of offers to choose from. However, the allure of playing with the likes of Lionel Messi, Luis SuA?rez and Neymar amongst others and to play in a team with the history of Barcelona could be the determining factor in the Frenchmana s decision.

What seems most likely at this stage a particularly with the uncertainty regarding club-mate Arturo Vidala s future a is that Pogba will bide his time this season in the Serie A and potentially join Barcelona at the start of the 2016/2017 season.
