Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta has denied reports that Real Madrid have made an offer for Arsenal FC target Arturo Vidal.

Juventus midfielder Arturo Vidal has been the subject of much interest from clubs all over Europe, with Arsenal FC the club most heavily linked with the player over the last month.

However, the agent of the Juventus star had denied of any contact with Arsenal FC . when the media all over were reporting otherwise.

However, reports emerging from Chile claimed that Real Madrid have moved on to agree a five-year deal with Vidal.

The Independent reports that the drunk driving incident during the Copa America made suitors Manchester United and Arsenal FC cool interest in the player.

They cite Chilean newspaper La Tercera which reports that Real Madrid have a no such concerns for Vidala s off-field antics and have moved to agree terms with the player, but are still to agree on a fee with the Italian cluba .

However, Juventus cheif Marotta has denied the reports that Rafa Benitez’s side have made an offer for the Chile midfielder.

Marotta, however, told reporters: “Vidal? It’s just rumours, Real Madrid have not come forward. We have a great relationship with them.”

Marotta also went onto add that replacing Andrea Pirlo would be very difficult after the player had finally completed his move to New York City from Juventus.

“Today is a day of great nostalgia for Pirlo. Replacing him won’t be easy – there are few born like him – but we’ll try,” he added.

Having already lost Pirlo, and speculation rife that Manchester City and FC Barcelona could still, yet, snare Pogba from Juventus, surely, the club will not be looking to allow a third midfielder that was crucial to their march to the Champions League final, to leave the Italian champions.
