Jose Mourinho Failing Because He ‘Can’t Live With Defeats’, Says Former Chelsea FC Defender Ricardo Carvalho

Chelsea FC are on the worst run under current owner Roman Abramovich, but former defender Ricardo Carvalho believes that Blues boss Jose Mourinho is not doing well because he “can’t live with defeats”.

The West Londoners have lost eight of their first 15 games at the Stamford Bridge, which is something that the Blues fans are not really used to. They find themselves in a rather unfamiliar 14th position on the table, just two points above relegation.

There have also been a lot of speculations about a rift between Jose Mourinho and some of the players, and also the fact that the Portuguese manager seems to have found himself in a situation that he has never faced in his life.

However, Carvalho, who has played under Mourinho at three clubs — FC Porto, Chelsea FC, and Real Madrid CF — believes that he knows exactly why the Chelsea FC boss is not doing well.

“Mourinho cana t live with defeat, thata s why he isna t doing great. Despite that, I think hea s the right man to turn things around at Chelsea,” Carvalho was quoted saying in the Daily Mirror.
