‘Jordan Ibe Better, Cash In On Raheem Sterling’: Liverpool FC Legend John Aldrdige

Liverpool FC legend John Aldridge says that the club should sell Raheem Sterling to Manchester City now and complete a deal which is best for all concerned with the club having a better player in Jordan Ibe to replace the want-away winger.

The Raheem Sterling saga is finally coming to a close as per reports in the Telegraph and Guardian with Manchester City set to beat Real Madrid, Manchester United, Chelsea FC, and Arsenal FC to the Liverpool FC winger.

Manchester City had two previous bids of 30 million and 40 million pound rejected. They are now expected to comeback with a 45 million pound offer that involves 40 million upfront and 5 million in performance related add ons.

Real Madrid, Chelsea FC, Arsenal FC and Liverpool FCa s hated rivals Manchester United were all interested in the player who scored 7 goals and recorded 8 assists in the 2014-15 Premier League season. But, they were put off by Liverpool FCa s 50 million valuation of the player.

The Liverpool FC winger had two years remaining to his contract and his value is set to dwindle in the coming twelve months.

The player had made clear his desire to leave the Merseyside giants in recent months citing the reason to join a more competitive team which can help him win trophies regularly.

And Liverpool FC legend John Aldridge believes now is the time for the Reds to say enough is enough and agree a deal for the 20-year-old to move to Manchester City stating that the club have a better talent in Jordan Ibe.

Aldridge told kicca: a Brendan Rodgers should let Raheem Sterling leave for Manchester City now. The sooner he leaves the better for all involved. All this transfer talk is making a mockery of Liverpool Football Club.”

a Raheem is obviously a hugely talented player but Liverpool have a top replacement in Jordon Ibe. Ia ve been watching Jordan play since he was 15. Hea s a terrific player and has bags of potential.

John Aldridge reckons Ibe will go on to be better than Raheem Sterling

a In fact I think hea s got as much if not more potential than Raheem and will go on to be a better player.

a On top of that, hea s a big strong lad who is very direct with a great shot on him.a

While Liverpool FC have insisted they dona t want to sell Raheem Sterling amidst interest from Chelsea FC, Arsenal FC, rivals Manchester United, and Manchester City, but Aldridge says that the club make a statement that no individual is bigger than the club.

.

Aldridge said: a Sterling is obviously too young to think for himself so his agent has been doing his thinking for him. For the sake of Liverpool Football Club they should take the millions on offer and then everybody will be better off.”

a Raheem will be a bit richer and Liverpool will be rid of a player who doesna t want to play for the club. Ita s a win-win. Manchester City are a big club and Raheem will get paid well and play Champions League football so he will be happy.

a And life at Anfield will go on without him because hea s certainly not bigger than the club.a
