Chelsea FC have been in a terrible run of form and if Jose Mourinho’s press conferences following the game are anything to go by, it is the officials that are to be blamed for the situation.

Carragher urges Mourinho to stop his embarrassing post game reactions

After crashing to a 3-1 home loss against Liverpool, Mourinho gave a rather bizarre television interview, featuring the Portuguese answering all questions posed at him with just ‘I have nothing to say’.

When asked about his take on Chelsea FC and Jose Mourinho, Carragher was quoted as saying by the Liverpool Echo : a He has to change some things and these interviews have got to stop, because theya re embarrassing him and theya re embarrassing the club.

a Maybe hea s trying to create a siege mentality but I dona t think the players would be totally agreeing with the manager, blaming referees. Chelsea were very poor at the weekend.

a This paranoia has got to stop, that the world is against them because theya re not.a

Carragher, Lampard back Mourinho

Chelsea FC legend Frank Lampard voiced his support for his former manager, with the legendary midfielder urging the Blues to stick with him as Carragher also added that the players are more to blame for the club’s decline.

Carragher said: a Ia m a massive fan of Jose Mourinho and Ia d like him to stay because therea s been too many changes in the past at Chelsea.

a These players performances have been shocking. Ita s about time we took more of a look at them. The manager is always in the spotlight.a

Lampard said: a He has the best record of any Chelsea manager and is a proven world class manager.

a I hope they do stick with him but results have got to change now.a

Chelsea FC have won just one of their last five games, losing three of the last four ties. The Blues are currently lying at the lowly 15th position, with just 11 points from 11 games.

Their form has simply failed to impress, with reports doing the rounds that Jose Mourinho has fallen out with the squad.

Only time will tell if the charismatic Portuguese can turn things around, but for now, he seems like a shadow of the manager who declared himself “the Happy One”, while rejoining Chelsea FC following his tenure at Real Madrid.
