Guus Hiddink, Jose Mourinho Meet For Breakfast To Discuss The State Of Chelsea FC Squad

Guus Hiddink mught be in charge of the Chelsea FC squad right now, but it seems as though Jose Mourinho is still in the thick of things at Stamford Bridge, with the duo meeting for breakfast ahead of the Dutchman’s first training session with the team.

However, the duo met for breakfast at the Berkeley Hotel in London, to discuss the state of the Chelsea FC squad, and it’s different players, according to The Sun.

Mourinho was sacked as the Chelsea FC manager after his side suffered a disastrous start to their campaign, losing nine of the 16 matches in the Champions League. The club has appointed former Netherlands manager Guus Hiddink as the interim manager till the end of the season.

The Portuguese manager was sacked just seven months after winning the Premier League trophy in style with the club. Incidentally, the same squad that had won them the Premier League last season, also managed to drag them down to the bottom half of the table, where they hovered just one point above the relegation zone.

However, it seemed that the sacking of Mourinho had completely rejuvenated the side as they went on a 3-1 rampage over Sunderland with their newfound vigour, on Saturday.

Long way to go for Chlesea FC and Mourinho

Chelsea FC and Jose Mourinho have won a lot of trophies, together and otherwise, but it seems that both have been left rather bruised and wounded for this season’s affair with each other. Both have experienced lows that is not expected of them, and would be just itching to get a chance to prove everybody wrong.

.

While both the club and the manager have more than a point to prove to the critics, they must go about proving these points without the company of one another.
