Deigo Costa has accepted that he has had issues adapting to life in England but is committed to Chelsea FC and intends on making his mark again next season.

Reports in Spanish media suggested that Costa was far from happy with life in England and Atletico Madrid were preparing to make a move for the Chelsea FC forward.

Admitting that he has found it difficult to adapt in England, Costa said,”Ita s always a bit more difficult in the first season for adaptation but I have no reason to leave this place.” “I love it, the fans love me, and I want to stay. Ita s really good to come in the first season and win two things [the league title and the Capital One Cup]. Next year Ia ll be ready to come back and, hopefully, win a couple more trophies.”

Costa

Diego Costa was the top scorer at Chelsea FC with his 20 goals in the Premier League propelling the London side to their first title since 2009-10 season.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho, too, dismissed suggestions emanating from Madrid that the striker is unhappy after only a year in English football. a Hea s the guy responsible for everything good we have in the dressing room,a he said. a Hea s so happy, hea s so funny, hea s enjoying every minute. Hea s the happiest guy in the dressing room so, if this is unhappiness, Ia m happy with that.a

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Radamel Falcao. . Michael Ballack had suggested earlier that Chelsea were one or two players short from European domination and with Diego Costa reiterating his desire to stay at Chelsea, the fans will be pleased at the prospect of another striker coming in to link with the Spanish International rather than as a replacement as Chelsea FC build towards becoming a dominant force in the Champion’s League, again.
