Manchester United’s Dutch midfielder Daley Blind has mentioned that they are ready to gun down the Premier League leaders Chelsea at their own den and remain in the title race.

The Dutchman seemed high on confidence after a thumping 4-2 victory over city rivals Manchester City last Sunday. The Premier League side is currently standing still at the third position in the league table with 65 points from 32 games. They are a point behind second-placed Arsenal.

Speaking to reporters Blind mentioned, a I think Manchester United is always a club that is fighting for the title, so ita s an easy answer.

a You want to do better every time and if you see how we play, I think we have improved a lot. We are still improving and we really are one team, which is an important thing. We have to go on this way and keep in our mind that every game is a final.

a We have to look at ourselves. Every game is a final until the end and we have to believe in ourselves.a

A win on Saturday will reduce the gap between Chelsea and Manchester United to 5 points. This will definitely establish the 20 times Premier League champions as a strong contender in this year’s title race.

Manchester United has convincingly uprooted difficult hurdles in the past few weeks. They defeated Tottenham Hotspurs 3-0, arch-rivals Liverpool 2-1 and most recently a 4-2 win over neighbours Manchester City.

It will be an interesting clash on Saturday. Jose Mourinho’s side needs to be extremely cautious against a Spirited Manchester United side.
