Real Madrid have rejected a A?20 million bid from Chelsea FC for 23-year-old midfielder Isco. .
The Spanish international signed for Real Madrid in 2013, after couple of impressive seasons with Malaga. He came up through the ranks of Valencia before moving to La Rosaleda.
Isco made 53 appearances for the Spanish giants last season as they finished second in La Liga and were knocked out by Juventus in the semi-final of the Champions League.
Despite impressing during his stay at Bernab u, Iscoa s future has come under a lot of speculation this summer. Both Chelsea and Juventus were monitoring his situation at Madrid, and it seems like the London club have made their first move.
According to Mirror, Real Madrid have turned down a A?20 million bid for Isco, from Chelsea. Reports suggest that Jose Mourinho is ready to sell Oscar this summer and have earmarked Isco as his replacement. Juventus are keen on signing Oscar, but are yet to match Chelseaa s demands. The Italian club are preparing for life without Paul Pogba, who could move to Barcelona next season, while Real Madrid have been strongly linked with Arturo Vidal.
Real Madrid however are reluctant to offload Isco, who does feature in new manager Rafael Beniteza s plans for next season. Although they might look to use him in a deal to sign Vidal from Juventus, in case they make a move for the Chilean international this summer.
Rafa Benitez and his new club also face the prospect of losing Sergio Ramos this summer, while Iker Casillas is likely to join Porto. At the moment, most of their focus is on how to secure the services of David De Gea from Manchester United, without having to sell Ramos to the English club.
The future of Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal at Juventus will decide the fate of a lot of transfers this summer, predominately that of Oscar and Isco. We just have to wait for the first domino to fall.
