Former AC Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti has been out of a job since he parted ways with Real Madrid earlier this year, but has more-or-less ruled himself out of taking up management at the Italian national team.

Ancelotti has been linked to a number of clubs recently including the likes of defending Real Madrid and Chelsea FC. When asked about his interests about taking up the management role at the Italian national team though, the Italian declined, saying that he prefers to work with his team on a day-to-day basis.

.

a I like to manage, the idea of managing once every three months is not something I like,” Ancelotti was quoted saying in Italian Football Daily. “Until this thought leaves me, coaching Italy or any other national team is not something that I would be interested in. Ia m supporting Conte and hope he wins the Euro.a

However the 56-year-old Italian has cleverly kept himself in the hunt for manegerial roles at the other clubs, by saying that he does not rule anything out, not even a return to Real Madrid, PSG, or Chelsea FC.

a Why not? I could return there in the same way I could go back to Paris Saint-Germain or Chelsea,a said Ancelotti.

Verratti the best Italian player at the moment, says Ancelotti

While there are a number of promising young talents propping out of Italy at the moment, Ancelotti believes that PSG midfielder Marco Verratti is the best talent from the country at the moment.

The Italian midfielder has long been considered as one of the most talented young players from the country. However, the 23-year-old has begun to come unto his own in the last couple of season, as he has increasingly been given more chances at the club.

While Ancelotti said that a number of young player from Italy have caught his eye, it is Marco Veratti, the one who does not ply his trade in the Serie A, who he thinks is the best Italian football player right now.

“The best Italian player, Marco Verratti, currently plays abroad,a Ancelotti said. He also went on to name the few Serie A-based Italian players who have impressed him so far.

a In Italy, I would like Insigne, Bernardeschi, Dybala or Baselli,” said the former PSG boss.
