Arsenal FC will travel to Tottenham Hotspur in the pick of the tie in the Capital One Cup draw. Liverpool FC and Manchester United have been handed easy games at home while Chelsea FC and Manchester City play away.
The Capital One Cup draw was made last night with Arsenal FC facing Spurs at White Hart Lane coming out as the pick of the tie.
The pair were drawn together for the third time in last 10 years in the Capital One Cup, formerly known as the Carling Cup.
The other city derby to come out of the draw was Aston Villa’s clash with Birmingham City.
Chelsea FC travel to Walsall while Manchester United host Ipswich Town. Liverpool FC also have got a good draw and will host League Two outfit Carlisle. Liverpool FC must be wary of the fact that Carlisle beat QPR to reach the third round of the competition.
There will be three all-Premier League clash in the round besides the London derby. Manchester City travel to Sunderland and Leciester host West Ham. The third all-Premier League clash sees Norwich host West Brom.
The games will be played on September 23-24.
