Mario Balotelli has once again shown his petulant side on the social media and cast a doubt over his Liverpool future after revealing that someone doesn’t like him.

Balotelli’s recent performances have improved compared to the earlier games and there have been signs that he could yet have a future at Liverpool. However, his social media exploits could do him more harm than good as noticed in December.

After Liverpool’s win over Burnley yesterday night, the Italian international wrote on his Instagram account, “Someone doesn’t Like me But differently of what they say about me im a team player and im so proud of my team,of this win and of these fans!”

It’s unclear who he was referring to, but it was definitely something that he could have done without. The Italian international has been no stranger to controversy on the social media as he was recently charged by the FA for posting an allegedly abusive or insulting image on social media that read, “Dona t be racist a be like Mario. Hea s an Italian plumber created by Japanese people who speaks English and looks like a Mexican. jumps like a black man and grabs coin like a Jew,” referring to the character Super Mario which is also the name that is associated with Balotelli amongst the fans. He was fined A?25,000 and was suspended for one game after the incident.

Last month, Balotelli had made the news after taking a penalty against Besiktas. Although he managed to score and Rodgers cleared the air in an interview, Balotelli’s action was condemned by captain Steven Gerrard who had said then, a Marioa s been a bit mischievous and gone against team codes. If he missed it coulda ve been like Everton. Rules are rules and they shoulda ve been adhered to.

a Jordan is the captain and Mario showed Jordan a bit of disrespect there, but hea s scored a very important goal.

“I think six or seven players would have wanted to take that penalty so if they all say they are taking it, what happens then?! Rules are in place for a reason.a

Balotelli has made just two appearances for Liverpool in the Premier League in 2015 after he was dropped in January for an awful first half of the season. Currently, he is behind Raheem Sterling, Daniel Sturridge and Rickie Lambert in the striking department. Since joining from Milan last summer, he has scored four times in all competitions for the reds.
