Arsenal FC manager Arsene Wenger looks to a take a leaf from Jose Mourinhoa s book by threatening to leave the pre-match press conference when asked to comment on the Portuguese’s latest barb on him.

Arsene Wenger, known for his calm demeanour, finally has had enough and is willing to put a stop to the altercation between him and the self styled a Special Onea by not adding further fuel to the fire. It remains to be seen whether Mourinho accepts the olive branch and concentrates on improving Chelsea FCa s fortune.

Jose Mourinhoa s Chelsea FC may have suffered their worst start to the season in recent years, but the Portuguese has been using the altercation as a shield to deflect the media scrutiny.

Last week Mourinho claimed Wenger was the only manager in top flight to be under no pressure. When inquired Wenger was livid . : a Look stop that story or we stop the press conference.”

Despite Arsene Wengera s attempt to draw a line, the sideshow is still expected to consume some more newsprint. A shock defeat in the hands of Olympiakos, consecutive defeats in the UEFA Champions League group stage, but somehow the row between managers Arsene Wenger and Jose Mourinho still becomes one of the talking points ahead of Arsenala s match against leaders Manchester United.
