Arsenal FC are willing to offer Petr Cech a pay rise from his salary at Chelsea FC and make him the highest paid goalkeeper in the cluba s history on around A?100,000-a-week as per reports in the Telegraph.
Despite Jose Mourinhoa s reluctance to sell Chelsea FC goalkeeper Petr Cech to Arsenal, a proposed deal is moving closer with the fee thought to be around A?11 million close to being agreed.
It is understood that Arsene Wenger has given his go ahead for Petr Cech to join Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez among the select group of Arsenal FC players on more than A?100,000-a-week salary.
Cech has been linked with a move to Arsenal FC, Manchester United, Liverpool FC and PSG, but, with the player preferring to stay in London for family reasons and Chelsea FC owners giving him the option to chose the club of his choice as a mark of respect for his legendary status at the club, it seems that Arsenal FC are now front-runners for his services with the 100k wages offer.
Arsenal FC currently have Colombian goalkeeper David Ospina and Poland’s Wojciech Szczesny as his goalkeepers.

A potential arrival of the Chelsea FC goalkeeper could mean the end of Ospina at the London club, after just one season with the player reluctant to be an understudy to the Czech international. Ospina has impressed ever since he took the gloves during the latter half of the season from Szczesny, who is thought be prepared to stay and fight for his place as per the report in the Telegraph.

Cecha s current Chelsea FC contract is around A?90,000-a-week according to the report, and PSG are still keen on the player and could potentially have stretched their offer to more than A?150,000-a-week, but the London location coupled with Cecha s desire to remain in the Premier League have made Arsenal FC favourites for the signature of Cech.
If the report is believed to be true, Cech would become one of Arsenala s highest earners, with Aaron Ramsey and Theo Walcott both also on around A?100,000-a-week after agreeing respective new deals in 2014 and 2013.
It does look like the transfer of Petr Cech from Chelsea FC to Arsenal FC is just a mater of time.
