Former Arsenal FC captain Thierry Henry urges Arsenal Wenger to sign top quality players and believes with the right additions, star man Alexis Sanchez can fire the Gunners to the Barclays Premier League title next season.

Arsenal FC to the Liverpool winger. Arsenal FC are on the verge of securing the signature of Petr Cech from Chelsea FC and Theirry Henry believes that the club could go all the way in the title race next season if the right signings are made to play alongside Alexis Sanchez.

Manager Arsene Wenger is expected to strengthen the outfiled along with the goalkeeper’s arrivals, with targets such as FC Porto forward Jackson Martinez, Monaco midfielder Geoffrey Kondogbia, Borussia Dortmund’s Sven Bender and Southampton’s Morgan Schneiderlin heavily linked with the gunners in recent times.

It is, however, the performances of Alexis Sanchez, currently away with Chile on Copa America duty in his homeland that Thierry Henry is look forward to as the biggest title hope for Arsenal FC with the legendary Frenchman hoping Arsenal FC can add more quality around him to ensure the title arrives at the London outfit for the first time since 2003-04.

.

“As an Arsenal fan I am very excited about next season and hopefully we can bring some people to the club, some new players maybe but when you have a guy like Alexis Sanchez anything can happen. Hopefully he can fire us to the title next year.”

“Look at what he did in the FA Cup final and what he has been doing since his arrival. He has been more than tremendous.”

Henry went onto heap more praise on Arsenal FC’s Chilean star: “We want to see that more and more and I know that he has that in his locker. When you have a guy like Alexis Sanchez, it is the X-factor.”

“He is the guy who can change the course of a game. I love the way he plays, he plays with his heart and I know the fans love that about him.”

Sanchez was indeed in tremendous form for Arsenal FC last season, top scoring for the Gunners with 26 goals and laying on an impressive 11 assists. And anyone who has watched him will certainly agree that the player has that ‘X-factor’ to conjure up a moment of brilliance to score or help his team score.

While Alexis Sanchez can certainly fire Arsenal FC to the title provided injures are kind to him and his talented team members, but, it is hard to disagree with Thierry Henry that Arsenal FC can make it much more of a surety if the the Gunners could add more quality to the squad.
