Fulhamai??i??s attacking midfielder Adel Taarabt is set to move to AC Milan on loan for the rest of the season as the Moroccan international undergoes his medical at Milan.
Officially a Queens Park Rangers player, Taarabt moved to Fulham on loan at the start of this season and has now been roped in by Clarence Seedorf in his bid to revamp a failing AC Milan side. The Italian club has confirmed that the 24 year old midfielder will be signed on loan after completing his medical with the club.
In order for his transfer to be made official, we must wait for the necessary procedures to take place.
The striker landed in Milan on Thursday morning and is looking to impress Seedorf in order to complete a permanent move this summer. Speaking to the Press, the Moroccan expressed his delight at the prospect of joining AC Milan.

Reports emerge that Taarabt was one of Seedorfai??i??s primary targets this transfer window though questions have been asked about the midfielderai??i??s ability as a play-maker. Following Essienai??i??s arrival, AC Milan fans were expecting the arrival of a more prominent player to help rescue the team which is currently sitting on the 9th spot in the Serie A. The Moroccan international made 16 appearances for Fulham this season and has played as an attacking midfielder, winger and a striker. Though a versatile player, he failed to make an impact as he went on to make just a single assist in the Premier League. A youth product of Lens, Taarabt moved to Tottenham Hotspurs in 2007. He then subsequently went on to play for Queen Parks Rangers and moved to Fulham last year.
Flavio Briatore, former QPR owner, is reported to have been the man responsible behind this transfer. Having recommended Adel Taarabt to the Italian Club, Flavio went on to heap praises on Taarabt in his interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport.
I know him well. He was the one who led my QPR towards the Premier League. He’s phenomenal. Milan have made a great signing, but he’s a talented player who needs looking after. He’s a lad who needs protection, he needs affection. I was the one who bought him from Tottenham. I’m sure he’ll find his feet in Italian football. He has no preference between his left or his right foot and he’s strong from set-pieces.
I only had positive things to say about him. When he was still with QPR, he told me he wanted a change of scenery and that he wanted to leave England because it was a bit gloomy. I negotiated with Marseille, but he ended up at Fulham. Well, now he’s in Milan he’s not going to see much sunshine there.
It now remains to be seen how the player reacts to his high-profile move to AC Milan. The Moroccan international has bagged a great opportunity and might move higher up the ranks if he helps AC Milan stage a comeback in the near future.
