Jose Mourinho Interested In Arsenal Target Mario Balotelli

Jose Mourinho has hinted that he may make a move for AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli. The ex-Manchester City striker endured a difficult relationship with Mourinho during the pair’s stint at Inter Milan, but Mourinho recently insisted that there were good times as well.

The Premier League club is widely believed to be fetching for a new striker in the summer with Chelsea believed to be keeping players like Falcao, Cavani, Costa and van Persie on their radar. Mourinhoai??i??s recent comments about his strikers finding it difficult to score goals has only reinterated the fact that Chelsea will go all out to get a quality striker in the summer.

“In football you never know the future. Balotelli is with a big club at the moment but you never know the future”, said Jose Mourinho

“They want to keep the best players and want to keep the best Italian players. But Mario has already been in English football before.Ai??I’m not going to be manager of Milan or the Italy national team, but he’s a good kid and somebody I’d like to work with again.”

Balotelli also also spoken about a possible reunion in the recent past

Balotelli Ai??has scored 10 goals and made three assists in 18 Serie A appearances for AC Milan this season.

The 23-year-old is clearly a good striker and has been tipped to do great things but AC Milan might not be able to offer him European football next season and that might make the Italian shift his allegiance and make a move back to the Premier League, if the Blues do indeed come knocking at the door.

However, Chelsea are not the only club looking to acquire the player’s services. Reports of North London clubs Arsenal and Tottenham’s interest in the former City player have also resurfaced over and over. Arsenal just have Giroud in form of a first choice striker in the team and clearly need another one for next season as their trophy ambitions of this term are fading by the minute. Tottenham seem to be willing to offerAi??Erik Lamela in a cash plus player deal in order to improve their squad and striker situation for next season.

Balotelli might make his way back to the Premier League in the form of spearheading Chelsea’s attack next season. The fact that Chelsea manager Mourinho and the player himself have both spoken of keenness to work with each other again only boosts the chance. The only thing that might not allow this is the fact that the Italian has a long list of suitors, all in need of Ai??a quality striker, and all willing to pay enough to land him.
