Newcastle United’s manager Alan Pardew believes that it is impossible for Chelsea FC to maintain their undefeated start to the season, and Chelsea FC will slip up at some point. Newcastle United entertain Chelsea FC in the weekend at St James’s Park and Alan Pardew has already started with his mental games against Jose Mourinho’s army. Pardew played diplomatic – first he praised Jose Mourinho’s men and then delivered the sucker punch, saying Chelsea FC will slip up this season.
“I think it’s difficult – obviously Arsenal have done it andAi??Chelsea have come pretty close before,But not in all competitions – that is impossible and I think Jose hasAi??admitted that. But they’re making a very good job of it at the moment.” said PardewAi??
Alan Pardew has always been very vocal about Chelsea FC and also commented on their Champions League success in 2012.
“It’s the best Chelsea team that I’ve ever seen and I’ve watched them since IAi??was about 12 so I know them pretty well. I think Jose is pretty pleased withAi??what he’s got.” he added.
Newcastle could miss their inspirational defender,Ai??Fabricio Coloccin, but Pardew is hopeful that the Argentine would return to the starting XI come Saturday.
Coloccini has been training with his team-mates this week but Pardew mustAi??decide whether he is ready for what is likely to prove one of the toughestAi??possible tests.
“Coloccini has been on the training ground but whether he’s gotAi??enough fitness levels to play a game of this level I don’t know,” said Pardew, whose side drew 1-1 at Burnley on Tuesday.
“I can’t really give a clear message. I’m not trying to hide behind anythingAi??but we have had recovery time and I can’t really give a clear indication of howAi??the players are.”
Chelsea FC are already looking in scintillating form. The London based club defeated Tottenham Hotspur 3-0 and elated themselves to thirty six points. League leaders Chelsea FC, have already been dubbed as favorites for the Premier League title and with second placed Manchester City six points below them, there can be doubt.
