Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is hopeful that his star striker Diego Costa will be fit and available for tomorrowai??i??s clash against Sporting Lisbon. The Spanish striker has been in scintillating form this season scoring 8 goals in 6 appearances. Mourinho recently claimed that Costa’s fitness level makes it difficult for him to play twice in a week but he will be hoping that the Brazilian born striker is ready for the game on Tuesday night.
Chelsea were held to a 1-1 draw in match week 1 by Schalke where Costa came on as a substitute only. However, it is understood that Jose Mourinho is counting on his hitman to start from the first whistle.
