The Premier League duo of Chelsea and Manchester City are poised to sign Atletico Madrid’s Koke, according to reports in Spain. Atletico Madrid’s chiefs have already dismissed Ai??bids made by La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona. Meeting the 22 year old’s release clause is the only way that Atletico would let their star player go.
Koke burst on to the scene with Atletico Madrid B, wherein he played pivotal roles and featured a staggering sixty six times for the club. After decent performances and growing through the rank, Koke was promoted to Atletico de Madrid’s senior team.
Having spent his career with Atletico, Koke is known for his exceptional passing abilities and for his penchant to unlock defenses. The 22 year old has won the 2013 European Championship with the Spanish U-21 team. He has also featured fifteen times for the Spanish National Team.
