Atletico Madrid have competed the signing of Argentinian starlet Angel Correa from San Lorenzo.
Atletico Madrid confirmed that they have reached an agreement with San Lorenzo for the transfer of Angel Correa.Ai??The teenager has signed a five-year contract, subject to a medical, and the fee is believed to be around A?6million.

AgustAi??n JimAi??nez, one of the representatives of the player, and Correa landed in Madrid on Monday to finalize his transfer.
The 19 year old plays primarily as a forward, in the striker or the second striker position, but can play anywhere in the attack and has often been deployed as an attacking midfielder or on the wings. His speed, pace on the ball is highly impressive as he breaks the defences of the opposition. But what is most striking about the teenager’s game is his intelligence and awareness in the game which make him technically very astute.
Atletico enjoyed a terrific season which saw them being crowned League Champions and coming second in the Champions League. Their impressive style of play under Simeone won them a lot of plaudits and everyone seemed happy as the duopoly of Spanish football was broken this season.
However, the club needs to do the same next season and maintain this impressive form. They would obviously need reinforcements especially as a host of players are tipped to be moving out of the club, especially and imminently Diego Costa, and they need to prepare for these losses. Angel Correa has been identified as a long term solution for the Costa void, but even if the Spaniard stays at the club, Correa’s addition would benefit the club immensely as he is one of the highest rated youngsters of today and his rise is only going to get bigger.
Midfielder Tiago also seems on his way out and reports in Spanish media indicate that he is on his way to Chelsea to rejoin the club ten years after he was purchased by Jose Mourinho from Benfica.Ai??Atletico would promote Saul Niguez to Tiago’s position, a 19-year-old who has been on loan at Rayo Vallecano and who was wanted by Everton, Arsenal and Liverpool.
