Interest from Manchester United, Arsenal and Chelsea intensifies according toAi??Le 10 SportAi??and Marseille have put an asking price on the player and would only consider offers above the price.
According to English reports in October, Arsene Wenger was keeping close tabs on the attacking midfielder following his impressive performances for the French giants since moving to the club last year.Ai??Wenger has openly been a fan of the 21 year old for a while now and has described the talented player as ai???one of the great hopes of French footballai??i??.
Thauvin has been an essential part of Marseille’s success this season and has scored three goals and assisted four in 12 league games, helping Marseille stay on top of the league for most parts of the season.
The 21-year-old joined Marseille from Lille in the summer of 2013 and enjoyed a good debut season. However, theAi??PhocAi??ens had a disappointing sixth placed finish and missed out on both Europa League as well as the Champions League.Ai??Thauvin was linked with the three Premier League clubs even in his Lille days and his good form has resulted in the trio coming back for him.

Thauvin has the knack of unlocking tight defences with his Ai??blistering pace and vision. He possesses pace, skills and terrific movement. He can play as an attacking midfielder, a forward or on the wings and was mostly employed on the right flank last season. In Bielsa’s system of three attackers along with a striker, Thauvin has been used on the wings or as the number 10 behind Gignac. Thauvin is one of the brightest young talents in French football and any of the three Premier League clubs or the Italian clubs would benefit from his inclusion as the 21 year old is clearly a talent for the future and can go on to become a world-class talent in the future. But Marseille are enjoying a great run in the league and under Bielsea, have become one of the most attractive sides to watch in Europe at the moment. The club should certainly hold on to the player they have within their ranks as they need him for the remainder of the season to challenge for the title and help in the return to the Champions League.
