Manchester Cityai??i??s injury woes continue as David Silva has returned to the club after picking up an injury while training with his national team.
City are already without their captain Vincent Kompany and the man who was signed to provide back-up for him, Demichelis. Both the defenders are expected to be out for four and six weeks respectively. City currently doesnai??i??t have any proper back-up for Lescott and Nastasic, although Micah Richards is expected to return to the bench next weekend. But David Silva looks like to miss out Cityai??i??s next match against Stoke City after picking up what has been diagnosed as muscle injury, while he was away with the Spanish national team. Silva didnai??i??t make an appearance for Spain in their 2-0 victory over Finland last Friday, but picked up this knock in training. The Spaniard has returned to club due to precautionary measures and will miss out on Spainai??i??s friendly against Chile tomorrow.

Osvaldo joined Southampton on four year deal for a transfer fee which could rise upto ai??i??17 million. The 27-year-old ended his two year stint at the club he joined from Espanyol back in 2011. “I wanted to have an experience abroad and Southampton wanted me from the beginning so I think it has been the right choice for me.
