In a significant development for Indian football, Dutch Football Association (KNVB) announced their partnership with Ozonegroup Football Academy to coaches and nurture young talent from the economically underprivileged sections of the society in Bangalore. Over the years hundreds of Dutch coaches have taken over teams around the world and led them to success. The KNVB is further increasing it’s influence by conducting a program ‘World Coaches’ which trains aspiring coaches around the world. This program was started in 2009 and has been carried out successfully in 13 countries till date.
Matches for BC Roy trophy are being carried out amidst chaos and mismanagement in Siliguri, West Bengal. Despite the stadium capacity being 25,000 around 50 spectators showed up for the matches on Thursday. Things got worse when the start was delayed due to absence of a medical repsentative. No one was present to update the scoreboard as well. A medical representative did arrive late but he was not available when Delhi footballer Manas got injured. Manas lay on the field writhing in pain with neither a doctor nor an ambulance driver in sight.

From December 15, a preliminary camp of senior national womenai??i??s football teamai??i??s probables for preparing the girls for the international tournaments such as the SAF Championships, SAF Games, AFC qualifying tournament, was organised which draws to a close on Friday.
