As the NPower Championship returns this weekend after making way for the FA Cup fourth round, TheHardTackle takes a look at 10 things you should be looking out for in the next 7 days of NPower Championship action:-

1. A new manager for Leeds United
After slumping to a 4-1 home defeat to Birmingham City, chairman Ken Bates gave Grayson the chop, citing poor form for the amount of money spent on wages.
As soon as word came through of Graysonai??i??s sacking, the speculation on who would be his successor started. Early favourite is Neil Warnock, who was dismissed from QPR in January. Other names linked are Steve Bruce and former Leeds title-winning midfielder Gordon Strachan.
One interesting name that has emerged today though is that of Lee Clark. Clark is manager of League One side Huddersfield Town, a team whom he guided to a record 43 league games unbeaten. He has also been instrumental in the development of young striker Jordan Rhodes, who has netted 27 times in 24 appearances so far this season and was a target for many teams during the transfer window. Former Newcastle United midfielder Clark is one of the countryai??i??s best young managers. The next 7 days could see him further enhance his reputation with a move to Townai??i??s Yorkshire rivals.
Before that though, Leeds will be under the temporary stewardship of Youth team boss Neil Redfearn as they travel to face Bristol City on Saturday.
2. Hitmen set for debuts
The January transfer window saw two of the divisionai??i??s top marksmen swap clubs.
Ten-goal Doncaster Rovers striker Billy Sharp swapped a relegation battle for a promotion push as he moved to second-placed Southampton. Saints boss Nigel Adkins managed Sharp at Scunthorpe United, so since Adkins appointment at St Maryai??i??s, The Saints have long been admirers of the talented striker. Sharp will partner Championship Top scorer Rickie Lambert in the Saintsai??i?? attack, in what looks a mouth-watering pairing. Sharp will make his bow for his new club when they travel to Birmingham City on Saturday.
Nicky Maynard also moved clubs. The 25-year old, who would have been out-of-contract at Bristol City in the summer, sealed a rumoured A?1.65m move to leaders West Ham United on deadline day. After netting 45 times for The Robins in 125 appearances, Maynard has been brought in to fire The hammers back to the Premier League. He will get his first chance to impress in the derby against Millwall on Saturday lunchtime.
3. Ravel Morrison to prove Sir Alex wrong?
As well as the signing of Maynard , West Ham also brought in Barnsley striker Ricardo Vaz Te and pulled off a major coup when they brought in talented, but troubled Manchester United youngster Ravel Morrison.
Heralded as one of the most gifted United youngsters since Paul Scholes, 18 year old Morrisonai??i??s on-field talents are clear. But, off the pitch is where his problems lie. He has found himself repeatedly in trouble with the Police, so much so that magistrates have warned he faces jail if he offends again. He has skipped training on a number of occasions and even taken to Twitter to voice his displeasure at a lack of first-team opportunities.
The final straw for Sir Alex Ferguson was Morrisonai??i??s wage demands when negotiating a new contract. Such was his anger, Ferguson decided to release the 18-year old, saying ai???he needs to get out of Manchesterai???.
West Ham boss Sam Allardyce stepped in to pay a fee which can rise to A?1m. It will now be interesting to see if Morrison can knuckle down and harness his undoubted talents or whether he will fall by the wayside.
4. Rampant Birmingham entertain Southampton
Match of the weekend comes at St Andrews as in-form Birmingham City host Southampton.
The Blues have won 5 out of 5 games in all competitions, scoring 18 goals, conceding just one. Their 4-1 at Leeds United on Tuesday night, in which giant Serbian striker Nikola Zigic netted all four goals, saw Chris Hughtonai??i??s men move up to fourth position, 7 points behind leaders West ham, but still with a game in hand.
Southampton on the other hand, have only won 3 times in their last 11 games and after topping the table for most of the season, have dropped to second.
With Zigic and Marlon King up front for the home side, and Billy Sharp taking his place alongside Rickie Lambert for the Saints, it promises to be an exciting game. With confidence sky high, we at TheHardTackle predict another win for Birmingham.
5. A couple of Local derbies
This weekai??i??s fixture list sees a couple of local derbies.
First up, West Ham entertain fierce rivals Millwall at Upton Park. The Hammers go into the game top of the table but on the back of a heavy 5-1 defeat away at Ipswich Town, whilst Millwall are teetering on the brink of the relegation zone. However, as in most derby matches, form goes out of the window, replaced by blood and thunder, with both sides desperate to put one over their rivals. The first meeting between the sides this season saw a 0-0 draw and we think honours will be shared again.
There is also an East Midlands derby as Derby County play host to struggling Nottingham Forest. The Rams sit in 2th on the periphery of the play-offs, whilst Forest are second from bottom after a dreadful run which has seen only 1 win from 13 games. Last time out, Derby took all three points from the City Ground, despite playing the majority of the game with 10 men. We fully expect the Rams to repeat the trick this weekend.
6. Cup heroes face Foxes
Last weekend, Brighton and Hove Albion produced a fine performance to see off Newcastle United 1-0, and book a 5th round tie away at Liverpool.
This weekend though it is back to the bread and butter of the league as Gus Poyets men entertain Leicester City, who themselves progressed to the next round.
With both sides sitting in mid-table, separated by two places and 3 points, it is vital that they start to pick up wins to move into play-off contention. TheHardTackle predicts a close game, but with home advantage, we think the Seagulls may just nick it.
7. Struggling duo need home comforts
With a bit of a gap appearing between the relegation places and safety, it is imperative that the sides in danger start winning.
This weekend, two of the bottom three have home games, presenting an opportunity for them to get some points on the board.
22nd placed Doncaster Rovers play Ipswich Town at the Keepmoat Stadium. Having lost star striker Billy Sharp during the transfer window, Rovers will no doubt find it hard to hit the net. Combine this with the fact that visitors Ipswich come into the game on the back of a fantastic 5-1 against leaders, it looks like it will be another tricky afternoon for Dean Saundersai??i?? men.
Bottom club Coventry City also have a tricky encounter as Reading visit the Ricoh Arena. Despite languishing at the bottom, the Sky Blues have won 3 out of their last 4 home games, so they will go into the game with Brian McDermottai??i??s high flyers with the notion that they can get the three points. Key to the Sky Blues hopes, will be on-loan Manchester City striker Alex Nimely who was sensational as City beat Middlesbrough 3-1 two weeks ago.
8. Third plays Seventh
Third placed Cardiff City play seventh place Blackpool in an exciting looking clash at the Cardiff City Stadium
Having reached the Carling Cup final, the Bluebirds must put that to the back of their mind for a few weeks as they continue their push for promotion. They picked up a valuable point away at Southampton on Tuesday evening and will be looking to continue to put pressure on the top two with victory against Ian Hollowayai??i??s side.
However, Blackpool themselves harbour hopes of a return to the Premier League. They made it 4 wins from 6 league games on Tuesday when they scored two goals in the final three minutes to come from behind to beat Coventry City.
With both sides well organised, a tight game is in store, but TheHardTackle predicts a narrow win for the home side.
9. Hull look to bounce back from Cup shock
The biggest shock of the FA Cup fourth round was Hull Cityai??i??s 1-0 home defeat to League Two side Crawley Town.
Nick Barmbyai??i??s men had been in a rich vein of form, so it was surprising that Crawley triumphed at the KC Stadium. With promotion the aim for the Tigers, Barmby and his team must put that disappointment behind them.
They struggled to do so on Tuesday night as they played out a 0-0 home draw with Doncaster Rovers. Barmby will be looking for an upturn in form when they make the long trip to Portsmouth on Saturday.
10. Posh to finally hit some form?
Peterborough United are in a rut having not won for 6 games.
Normally a good bet to hit a few goals, Darren Fergusonai??i??s men have only netted 6 times in 9 games, and are slowly dropping down the table.
This weekend it doesnai??i??t look like their form will improve, as they play promotion-chasing Burnley at London Road. The Clarets have been in impressive form lately as they have moved within 3 points of the play-off positions.
Whilst from a neutral point of view we would like to see Posh get back to their entertaining best, the Peterborough faithful will be keen for any kind of positive result to help get their side back on track.
