Sanju Pradhan’s shot was cleared away by Dempo ‘keper Kattimani, but the clearance fell for an unmarked Tolgay, but the Australian’s powerful shot rattled the woodwork once again. 80′: Nice sequence of passes between the East Bengal players. Mehtab sent a square pass to Sanju, Sanju in-turn feeds Robin Singh. Robin Singh to Tolgay just outside the Dempo box. Tolgay’s clever back-hill was brilliantly intercepted by Robin on the run and the former TFA graduate unleashes a trademark left footer, but Kattimani was equal to the task and pulled off a good stop.
82′: Dempo got a free-kick around 30 yards out. But Ranty blasted it against the East Bengal wall. Just about 10 minutes to go for the final whistle and Dempo is desparate for an equalizer here.
88′: Nice cross by Kalu in the East Bengal box. But Okpara had closely marked Ranty. No damage done. East Bengal still leading by the Tolgay goal.
