Arthur has had a difficult time since his move to Europe and he will be hoping to kickstart his career with a move to Liverpool. The Brazilian has had his fair share of injury problems over the last few seasons and it remains to be seen whether he can keep himself fit at Anfield now.
It is no secret that Liverpool needed to bring in midfield reinforcements and Arthur could prove to be a useful addition if he can improve his availability. The Reds have been linked with the likes of Konrad Laimer as well.
The 26-year-old was likened to the former Barcelona legend Xavi Hernandez during his time at Gremio and he is a player with tremendous potential. However, his availability and adaptability remain a concern.
Arthur will have to adapt to the physicality of English football before he can make a proper impact in the Premier League. With the likes of Thiago Alcantara and Naby Keita struggling with persistent injury problems, Klopp needed to bring in another central midfielder and it seems that the German manager picked out the Juventus ace for a deadline day move.
The Brazilian international has made just 42 league appearances for Juventus over the last couple of seasons and he will be hoping for better luck with injuries at Liverpool now.
There is no doubt that he has the technical ability and the intelligence to succeed at the highest level, and he could prove to be a wise short-term addition for the Premier League giants.
Liverpool have had a disappointing start to the Premier League campaign by their standards and they have picked up just two victories so far. Klopp will be hoping that the arrival of Arthur and the return of key players from injuries and suspension will allow the Reds to kick on and put together a winning run now.
